calimacYes, I know all about the Gilroy Garlic Festival. It's a big annual deal locally. No, I've never been. I like garlic but I'm not fond of massive crowds.
We drove past on the freeway, heading south, about 2.30 Sunday afternoon. Wasn't thinking of anything but the traffic. Innocent times. Didn't hear the news until checking the internet in the hotel that evening.
Yes, all the shocked reaction and outrage against gun culture (a "culture of death," I believe it deserves to be called far more than other things given that label) that have had to be said after Sandy Hook, Parkland, Orlando, Vegas, and on and on. By those standards, this was a little one. A little one! Has it come to that?
