Tempting as it is, I am quite retired from fandom, and Corflu is no longer on my dance card. If there's another Potlatch, though, I'd go to that.
The reference you saw was real, though, and was intended as a shout-out to Tom Shippey. The last time I saw him, what he mostly wanted to talk with me about was the (then still-living) Peter Weston, I being one of the few people Tom would be seeing on that trip who knew Peter.
