He's gotten a lot of mileage out of that photo. I'm cropped out of it. My church was making a directory of members some years ago and brought in a professional photographer. Non-member spouses were okay to be in the shots, and they suggested we bring an item of importance with us. The full image shows me with my viola (which I play in church) and David is holding a hardback edition of Lord of the Rings. Pretty good for a free photo!
