calimacI'm still getting occasional mail for my mother, who died two years ago. The ones that really concern me are the ones that didn't catch the CoA and are still going to her own address. They're being forwarded - for the moment.
I got one from an organization which I know she used to contribute to. I went to their website and found a CoA form. For the new name and address, I just filled in all the fields that were marked as requiring entry with the word DECEASED. Then when I submitted it, it bounced. Not a valid email address, it said. So I changed that field to DECEASED@DECEASED.DECEASED. That worked. You think they'll get the message?
