Last night, at le petit Trianon, the Vienna Piano Trio (that's one piano, one violin, one cello) played Mozart (K. 502), Schumann (Op. 63 - bouncy, that one), Schoenberg (an arrangement of Verklärte Nacht), and, as an encore, Schubert (the Andante from Op. 100). S'aright.
First concert I've attended there since the new City Hall, Mayor Ron's giant memorial to himself, opened down the street. New street lights good, huge illuminations in unused domes all evenings not so necessary. Street planters (with fake trees) in retro-20s design, looking more like oversized concrete versions of wooden toy cars, kind of embarrassing.
