What is so rare as a container of plain yogurt? (I needed it for cooking.) Yes, I found one, but - my word.

I'm surprised. Our local Vons, which is a fairly small market, has whole milk, low fat, nonfat, and nonfat Greek. Of course they do have about fifty flavored and sweetened kinds too.

I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago. It's not so much finding plain yogurt as finding it in a small size. Getting a quart of plain nonfat yogurt is easy, but if you just want a small amount for one recipe...
