I'm back

... from a short trip with long, tiring journeys on either end. And I'm very tired, which doesn't leave me with anything less to do here. Still, it was a successful and productive meeting, though hampered by malfunctioning planes and cancelled flights (others', not mine), land hurricanes (also others' to worry about), heat waves (I was in that), burning cars (I was in that, too), some recent stresses and tragedies, and the filling of yawning vacancies.

Much gratitude to free wi-fi, the borrowing of others' computers, and the desk phone at Southwest when my cell phone refused to pick up a signal at an airport.
