kip_w: That's where I was looking. The problem is that LJ has changed what "my style" is.
irontongue et al: Thanks, but I already have a DW account. Have you noticed that I never use it?
anderyn: It didn't work. I asked musesfool (whose account has been reverted to the old comment style) for help, but s/he wasn't able to help.

Date: 2011-12-21 11:05 pm (UTC)I don't want to quit LJ. I don't want to go to DW (I have an account too), or back to Facebook.
I think the problem will not be sorted out until the hosts pay heed to all the complaints they're getting and restore the functionality.

Date: 2011-12-22 08:18 pm (UTC)I will say that I have found browser updates utterly painless, at least for Safari, Firefox, and Chrome, on both of the OSs I use. I am on the most recent versions of each of those browsers.
