I've appreciated Eric Idle's performance as Ko-ko, but did you know that Groucho Marx once played Ko-ko? Opposite Helen Traubel as Katisha? True, Groucho can't sing, but ... what a combination! Audio only. (Added: And ... here's a video of Groucho singing the same song with his small daughter.)

Oh, I think his singing is just fine, though who knows how loud he was! He's in tune when he's singing harmony with Traubel - who was 60-ish when that recording was made, and it was starting to show in her voice.
