Don't know if you saw Jon Stewart's return to The Daily Show this week, but he addressed the issue, in light of (for example) people who don't want to talk about Joe Biden's age. These are the two oldest guys we've ever had running for this office -- and they're breaking the record that they set four years ago.

(Not talking about a fact doesn't change its fact-ness.)

Stewart's remark was the inspiration for my research. Was it really true that they were the oldest both times? If so, how much older than anyone else? How old are candidates usually, anyway? These are the questions I sought to answer.
