more words about music

Let's say you wanted to read about that Stanford symposium on historical recordings that I wrote about last week.
You could re-read my earlier post.
Or, you could read the posts that are making their way onto Iron Tongue of Midnight, or her comments buried down in last week's SFCV news column.
Or, you could read a blog post by one of the actual presenters.
Or - and here's the news - you can read my feature article on it that's just been published in the new issue of SFCV.
Or - if you're really dedicated - you could ask me to send you the Word file of the 5500 words of notes I took on all the presentations. I'd do it too. I know a couple people reading this who might actually be interested at that level.
Or, in the same new issue of SFCV, you could read another of the actual presenters stuffing his lecture topic into a review of a totally different work.
In related news, my review last week now marks the second time in my career of musical journalism that the conductor has written in (second letter here) to compliment it. Perhaps I'm better at this than I think I am.
