As a Chicagoan, I appreciate this on many levels. OTOH, Chicago's elevated trains run mostly 24/7 and take you directly to both airports, now. (ETA: Within the city only. Suburbanites use cars.)
In Madison, the city buses are pretty good, but they don't run to the airport between about 10:30 p.m. and 7 a.m.
