Whenever anyone tells a story of their long-past experiences with cats, I think of how far off that is in cat terms. Far, far back, beyond the memory of living cat, and since cats have no written records, any tales of such ancient characters passed on down the generations from mother to kitten must have become pure legendry, like the feline equivalent of El Ahrairah.
