There's plenty that a sufficiently good musicologist can say about Carmina Burana, as our violist proved even though he disliked the work: rhythmic patterns, styles of vocalization, choral antiphony ... all kinds of stuff.

No falsetto, just a strong high tenor.

The 1847 Schmeller edition? That's the one Orff worked from.
