The funny thing is that if they did manage to take over the Hugos they'd end up being just as dissatisfied as the average Hugo voter, because they would inevitably stop unifying around a slate. Welcome to being a member of Worldcon! Even if you *are* supporting rather than attending.
And I do appreciate the irony of your being driven back toward fandom and a defense of the Hugos by this attack. I don't think you're the only one. I feel compelled to vote in the majority of the Hugo categories for the first time in many years.
