I found My Dinner with Andre to be pretty interesting, the first time. I taped it. Later on, I found I couldn't even sit through a few minutes of it. Its bolt was shot. I taped over it.
But hey, cum grano salis. I just finished watching Pirates of the Caribbean and got three days of enjoyment from it -- just try to watch a whole movie with Sarah around. It seemed like the characters (even some of the spear carriers) all behaved like they were real to themselves and not pawns, and although the magic started to contradict itself near the end, I thought they were playing by some interesting rules. I liked when Elizabeth was conking somebody, and she said "Pain? You want Pain? Try wearing a corset!"
