Anyway, to your comment that "Yesterday" had been performed live by the Beatles, I wanted to write:
The Ensemble specializes in songs never performed live by the Beatles, but they are not contractually forbidden from playing others. It was clear that this song was outside their normal performing repertoire.
There's a live performance of "Yesterday" on the Beatles Anthology. It makes eerie listening, because the audience is trying to scream at Paul, but you can't scream to "Yesterday" - it doesn't work.
