(no subject)
Jul. 7th, 2012 05:14 pmIf you tell a phone solicitor from a nonprofit group that you're on the No-Call List, they'll immediately respond that they're not subject to the No-Call List.
They don't get it, do they? I mean, they really, really don't get it.
Also, the next time one of them calls and brightly announces "This is [first name]," I should immediately respond as if they're the person I know best by that name, even though I can obviously tell they're not that person, and drown them in a lot of personal questions, pretend not to understand their expostulations, and finally get very put out and accuse them of impersonating that person.
