I would have gone to SFS this week, except that I saw Nixon in China last Friday, the Philly on Saturday, and attended six of the seven Ojai North programs. Eight performances in one week is my limit.
On the subject of encores, after playing the two-piano version of Le Sacre du Printemps, Leif Ove Andsnes and Marc-Andre Hamelin played the Circus Polka for a Young Elephant.
