At yesterday's family Easter celebration, I wore a new knit green shirt. It did not have the alligator on, but it did have an emblem with the word IZOD.

I was asked what this meant, and as "It's the manufacturer's brand name" seemed too boring, I began to spin a tale of the Old Testament prophet Izod, son of Abrahod, who prophecied most of the rules from Leviticus about what types of fabric it's permissible to wear.

For a while this was taken seriously.

We are returned with too much cake, and a wedding invitation.
