No, no, was my first thought. The pig is named Wilbur. Charlotte is the name of the spider. Get it right!
This was my reaction when I first heard of the dinosaur named Barney. That's wrong. The dinosaur is named Dino. Barney is Fred's friend.
As a followup to yesterday's culinary post, I changed my mind about what we were having for dinner tonight halfway through cooking it. I'd started stir-frying vegetables for one of our standard dishes, tofu with veggies. This is a very low-carb meal, and low-carb is as bad as high-carb, so I usually put in some corn. But I remembered we had some leftover polenta, and by the time I added that, there looked like more than enough food for dinner, so I'll save the tofu for later. This is fresh tofu from the vat, the world's finest in fact, delicious when new but after a couple days it starts getting glutinous, so I can't wait too long.
Decided not to decorate the polenta-and-veggies with the usual mabo sauce, which I get from the same little Hawaiian grocery that supplies the tofu, and hunted through the fridge for half-forgotten bottles. The plum sauce had gone plum crazy, but a sniff suggested the peanut sauce was still good, so I used that instead.
