whoops - forgot to go look at the final released text of this earlier today when it came out - this week's San Francisco Classical Voice front page is the reviewers' choices of promising concerts in the next five months. As asked, I concentrated on ones in my neck of the woods; except for one in February, they all turned out to be in a clump in March & April. There's one of my choices I'm not even sure I'm going to be able to get to, and I find I'd even neglected to write the ones I don't already have tickets for in my appointment calendar. Tsk; I'm better-organized than usual in some areas (you shall read about shelving all our books when I'm done with it), and I shouldn't lose my place in this one.
