Our younger cat, Macavity, will come up and cry. It can mean several different things. But fairly often, it means he wants me to reach down and rub his head. Then he'll flop into a belly up position, and strangely, if his belly is rubbed, he usually raises his forepaws to his face and licks them, alternately. Once in a while he'll get excited and do the disemboweling kick, but usually he seems to find the procedure relaxing and pleasurable. I've never known another cat who had that reaction. . . .
