I would at least consider changing to BART at Millbrae, getting off at Daly City and then taking the 28 (along 19th avenue to the GG Bridge.) Driving to Millbrae or even Colma BART is a possibility, too; there are huge parking structures and 280 traffic isn't too bad, more flexibility in departure time.
