Yeah, we've had ours for 37 years now. And they recently moved the Post Office it sits in. BUT all our mail still goes there, and it is near the house. So it lives on. It is actually still a mailing address for the Mythopoeic Society.
But I've heard several people are giving up their Mail Boxes. So few people get much mail in their boxes. So much of it is junk. The end of an era.
I now have the Post Office deliver my PO Box renewal via e-mail. I pay it on the internet as well. So much for using any stamps.
Frankly, I think the Post Office lost one, when they were not allowed on the Internet band wagon. Could you imagine if your e-mail server was through the post office and you gave them a monthly fee instead of your ISP?
