For earlier childhood, I have memories of viewing the family photo albums, quite extensive on subjects like this, to supplement my own memories. I consulted the rig log to confirm that what we visited in South Dakota was Jewel Cave National Monument and not Wind Cave National Park. My map of counties visited was also helpful in supplementing my memory; while I can no longer remember exactly what routes all our childhood trips took, in earlier years I could - remember that I had a map in my hands at all times during those vacations - and I long ago compiled that map out of that data. Its current form is just a copy of an old printed one.
