...anyway, I popped over for a visit, and found this fascinating entry of yours, and like it so much I just might put it in memories. I really liked this: Gormenghast has no overt magic at all: it's just a very strange place. --that strangeness I find especially appealing (I'm speaking generally; I haven't actually read Gormenghast.... I'm very poorly read for someone who professes to like the fantasy genre.
