FYI, Bruce Timm, the creator of the 1990s animated Batman series, did right by Adam West. Timm gave West a recurring part as the star of an old-time mystery-thriller TV series called "The Gray Ghost." This series turns out to have been a favorite of the young Bruce Wayne, who is shown being fascinated by one episode of it. Then, flash forward twenty years or so in Gotham and ....
