I don't think it's a common name in Britain so you might not know many. But it's exceedingly common among our generation in the US. Karen, Lisa, Linda, and Debbie - those were the female names.

The trans women of my age whom I know have taken on lovely names, but they'd probably be scared off of taking Karen. Pity.
